Qualifying for Financial Assistance
Eligible projects will:
1. Have a nameplate capacity of 5 MW AC or less
2. Provide a minimum of 20% household savings to residents
3. Deliver at least 50% of the electricity generated from the system to multiple residential customers within the same utility territory as the facility
4. Deliver at least 50% of the benefits and/or credits of the power generated from a community solar system to low-income residential customers in the same service territory
5. Comply with Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) for federally funded “construction” projects and Build America Buy America (BABA) for federally funded “infrastructure” projects
Eligible applicants must be registered at SAM.gov with an active SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and not be suspended, disbarred, or otherwise deemed ineligible.
The program covers 46 states, Puerto Rico, Washington, D.C., and all 10 EPA regions
