James McIntyre
Chief Strategy Officer
James McIntyre is the Chief Strategy Officer at Inclusive Prosperity Capital (“IPC”), a national nonprofit focused on providing clean energy solutions to underserved communities and markets. James joined IPC in August 2021 from New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) where he oversaw the State’s $20+ billion single-family and multifamily affordable housing debt programs. James is recognized leader in ESG debt financing, developing and implementing award winning issuance practices at HCR, and serving on the inaugural global advisory board of Nasdaq’s Sustainable Bond Network. Prior to joining HCR, James helped develop the first online municipal bond broker-dealer, Neighborly. Before joining Neighborly, James was a public finance and affordable housing banker for fourteen years at UBS and Morgan Stanley. James graduated with High Distinction from the University of Michigan with degrees in Afroamerican & African Studies and Political Science. In July 2022, James was appointed by the New York State Senate to the board of the New York State Housing Finance Agency.
